Amazing Day of the Olympics

Although I do not follow the Olympics day in, day out, I have just witnessed a historic moment at the Beijing Olympics. I watched in amazement, the way Usain Bolt obliterated the rest of the field in winning the 100m sprint in a new world record. He won it with some showboating around 10 meters to the finish line. The last time I watched the 100m sprint was back in Seoul 1988.

Then, there is the “aging” Federer. In 2000, he’s got his girlfriend. This year, he’s finally got his gold for Suisse. I am very delighted for him, because for such complete player, he’s got his due reward. Now the only missing one – Roland Garros!

Now, all eyes today will be glued to the men’s singles final of Badminton. Can Malaysia win its first gold ever, and Chong Wei bag the promised RM1m?

Did I mention about Man Utd’s opeing match against the Magpies?
