14/10: Great Eastern Mall, again

Let me tell you a story. It is a story of great anger. It is a story about stomach of anger. Why? I was angry and I was hungry.

On Friday evening, I was supposed to go to Great Eastern Mall to meet with missus, so we could go to Avenue K to collect our cycling jersey for the OCBC Cycle Malaysia 2011.

So, I decided to take the bus from my home. Normally, the bus is quite frequent, 10-minute intervals around 5pm. But on this unfortunate day, the bus (rapidkl U30) did not arrive at my usual bus stop. I waited and waited for 40 minutes. I was so frustrated and angry. And I was also hungry. I was having a “stomach of anger” moment.

So, I took the decision to bolt, returned home, took Abby out and rode all the way to GE Mall. It was the best decision. I was already late, I took some slight risks riding in traffic at Pandan Indah. I took only 27 minutes to reach GE Mall. I think I reached GE Mall faster than if I took the bus.

I have made up my mind that from now onwards, I will ride to GE Mall instead of taking the bus, when weather permits. I felt so exhilarated when I passed vehicles in traffic jam at Pandan Indah, Taman Cahaya and Kg Pandan. That saved me RM1.90 of bus fare.
